Daily Word Lamps

Find the hidden Bible word in six guesses.

1. Choose Daily or My Collections, then select 5, 6, or 7 letters.
2. Enter a word using your keyboard or the on-screen letter keys.
3. Select Submit or press Enter.
4. Use the lamp clues to improve your next guess. Solve the word before your six guesses run out.

Read the lamps

• Lit lamp: the letter is in the correct position.
• White outline, unlit: the letter belongs in the word, but in another position.
• Dim lamp: that letter is absent, or you have guessed more copies than the word contains.

Correctly placed letters carry into your next row with gold outlines. You can still edit them. Click or tap a position to change it; use Backspace to erase.

Choose your puzzles

• Daily: players using the same Bible version receive the same daily puzzles. Browse the date lamps to play within the 90-day window, including today. New puzzles arrive at midnight UTC.
• My Collections: answers come from your selected Bible collections. Choose New to start another puzzle.

Every submitted guess must appear in your current Bible version. Invalid guesses do not use an attempt.

Unfinished played puzzles can be resumed while they remain in your history. Finished puzzles cannot be retried. Confirming Give up ends that puzzle as a loss.

After a puzzle, use Search to find the revealed word in the Bible, or Share your result.

Discovered words

Some common words don’t appear in your selected Bible version. Collecting them is an extra challenge alongside solving puzzles.

• Submit a word of the selected length. If the game recognizes it as a common word missing from your Bible version, it is automatically saved as a new discovery.
• A discovery does not use a guess or advance the puzzle. Choose Keep playing to edit your word and continue.
• Each word can be discovered once per Bible version. Your discovery lists are kept separately for each version.
• Select the sparkle icon beside the Bible version name to open Discovered words. Browse your five-, six-, or seven-letter discoveries, search the list, or sort alphabetically or newest first.
