How to play
Fill in the missing letters and words to complete the text.
- Choose what to hide: Letters, Words, or Random. Random picks either letters or words for each challenge.
- Choose how much to hide: Set the slider from 1% to 100%. The default is Letters at 10%.
- Start typing: Fill each underlined blank with the correct character. Correct letters lock into place.
Move Between Blanks
- Tab: Jump to the next unfinished position.
- Shift + Tab: Jump to the previous unfinished position.
- Click or tap a blank: Start typing there.
Navigation wraps around while unfinished blanks remain.
Fix Mistakes
Incorrect letters appear in the text and are marked as wrong.
- Allow Backspace on: Mistakes advance the cursor. Backspace returns to the previous incorrect or empty position, skipping correct letters.
- Allow Backspace off: Mistakes keep the cursor in place. Type again to replace the incorrect letter, or press Backspace to clear it.
Correct letters cannot be deleted or replaced.
Challenge Settings
Ignore punctuation and Ignore spaces are on by default. For an extra challenge, turn either off to include those characters in the missing parts. New lines are always ignored.
Finish the Challenge
Complete every blank to finish. Your score depends on accuracy, completion time, and the number of missing letters—including letters inside hidden words.
Time starts when the challenge begins and pauses while the game is paused. After finishing, if you want to change things up, adjust the settings before starting your next challenge.
