Decoder: Hidden Depth

When you start a new game, you'll be given a list of possible answers, but only one of them is correct.

Decode the Question

To figure out the correct answer, first reveal the question hidden in the colorful pattern on the game board.

The image is a stereogram: the question appears in 3D when you look through the pattern.

1. Keep your screen level and look at the image.
2. Relax your eyes as if you were looking at something behind the screen.
3. Let the two dots above the image appear as three dots.
4. Hold that gaze while the hidden letters come into focus.

You only need to read enough of the question to work out the answer. Once you think you know it, select the correct answer.

After the round, use Show Solution to display the question over the pattern in the same position as the hidden text.

Tips & Tricks

Seeing the hidden text can take practice. Try these hints:

• Start close to the screen, then slowly move back while keeping your eyes relaxed.
• Look through the image instead of focusing on individual details in the pattern.
• Adjust Eye spacing until the 3D effect feels comfortable. Your setting is remembered on this device.
• A smaller eye spacing may help on a phone.
• Keep your head and screen level, and give the letters time to come into focus.

Game Modes

To start a new game, choose one of three modes.

• Challenge Mode: decode the question and answer before time runs out.
• Relaxed Mode: unlimited time to find the hidden question and choose your answer.
• Custom Mode: choose your own round timer, or turn it off for unlimited time.
